I've read some reviews that said the bag and packing has no way to get the big chainring on a road bike off of the floor of the bag. Is this still the case or has Dakine made an improvement to address this issue? Bill in Seattle

will this bag fit tri bikes?

Hi Mike, This bag does fit Tri Bikes. Please keep in mind that the bag however, accommodates bikes with a max wheelbase upto 51" / 1300mm. So, the only thing to consider, if your wheelbase is on the smaller side, is that you may need to modify the fit with foam blocks and/or extra padding. What’s the largest bike this will fit? I have an XL enduro bike with a 1310mm wheelbase. Will it fit?

Hi Colin, Our bike bag will accommodate bikes with a max wheelbase up to 51” (1300mm). However, while i can't promise the fit between this bag and your bike's wheelbase provided, I can say that earlier this year, I've had a customer / rider of mine use this bag to haul their Evo StumpJumper' with a wheelbase of 1307mm and 29 wheel size.
