42L roller bag luggage review

Sadly, I'm not happy with this purchase. I really need spinner wheels and 4, not two of them. It is really difficult to maneuver the suitcase around turns and heavy when it is fully packed, which makes pulling it even more difficult. Also, it is already showing signs of wear and tear and I've only used it a few times.

Warranty program makes Dakine da bomb!!!!

I love my new Dakine rollerbag and backpack. My rollerbag I bought about three years ago broke down and thanks to your warranty program I was able to get it replaced. Dakine is quality merchandise and great staff to help you when needed. Thanks so much!

The best quality for a fair price

I purchased a Dakine roller bag 7 years ago for myself. I travel more than 100 days a year. and my bag has no damage. I did replace the wheels after 6 years but that is an incredible time for the wheels to last. And it was easy to replace the wheels. So I purchased 3 bags for my family as gifts. The quality is just as good as the bag I purchased 7 years ago.

Status Roller 42L+ Bag

The Status Roller bag is just what I wanted. A well made Roller bag, like all the other Dakine windsurfing board bags, windsurfing harness and accessories that I already have. I also like that it collapses to a fairly thin package for storage. The mesh divider is nice along with the cinch strap inside. Another great product. Thank you and keep up the great designs! Dakine luggage is the best

This is my 5th Dakine bag ( and not because I have to replace them but because my wife, my son, and my daughter all wanted one after I got my first bag. Everything operates smoothly on the back with pouches for everything. The expandable portion is great for when you come home with more than you left with and the integrated cup holder is pretty sweet and no having to place your cup on the floor on in a dirty cup holder. Plus the fact that they have some cool colors is a bonus! Highly recommend this (or any) luggage.

Carry on problem

My carry on handle broke. I took photos and emailed them . I was given a quick response. My suitcase was not repairable. I was given a voucher and had the carry on replaced with in a few days.

Meh

It’s just ok. It doesn’t have front wheels so it tips over easily when fully packed and standing upright. If you travel a lot, this may not be the bag for you.

Status Roller 42L + Bag Review

Great bag and love the expansion zip on it. Best wheels i have had on a bag to date, its really easy to wheel around. Only gripe with it is that when expanded and full the bag is off balance and tends to fall over. It could do with some feet stabilizers on one side to stop that from happening.

Solid travel bag

Great material and zippers with convenient handles on all sides. Only thing that isn’t great is the engineering to ensure the bag doesn’t fall forward when standing it up. If you pack your luggage evenly you should be alright, but if not, you’ll be annoyed when the bag continuously falls forward when standing upright.

Can this luggage be locked using a lock on the zipper? If so, is the zipper made to be locked in a sturdy way?

While the zippers on this bag could be locked, they are not specifically made that way. I'd recommend one of our other luggages that has a built in locking mechanism, such as the Verge series. Hope this helps!
